"I wrote this song to address the feelings that most people who go through rough patches in their relationships experience: the scare of abandonment and neglect that really should result in a break up; but we try to warn, we try to make them pay attention, and if they don’t, then that’s it!

The happy, glorious beginnings, all smiles and laughs, not being able to go a day without talking; sometimes turns into to speaking to each other less, less excitement, barely a touch, barely a "you know what I want to do" stare and so you go from being happy to sad, to fearful, to disgusted and finally ... rage.

When you love someone, you want to put in that effort, but there comes a time when you got to let them see that rage and feel your absence so they could remember your worth and they could either improve or hit that door!"

What Do We Do
(Written, composed and performed by: Lí-Lí Octave)

(Oh! Na! Na!)

(Oh! Na! Na!)

I know you said you loved me
So often near the start
I guess that’s why every beginning
Usually has an ending
(Oh! Na! Na!)
The silence now is louder
Than anything we’ve ever said
I guess that’s why it won’t be far from now
Before we both grow apart.
(Oh! Na! Na!)
You said that I exist too loudly I need to dissolve my pride
But what you confuse as pride is my will to never let you decide
(How I live)
I could just choose to dance to your beat
Acting like we’re alright
But what soon will come is what you can’t mend
Beginning of the end

What do we do
(Oh! Na! Na!)
After all that we’ve been through?
Cause we’re out here pretending
That we got no ending
(Oh! Na! Na!)
We sleep without mending
I’m dreaming, we’re ending
We’re ending ending
What do we do
(Oh! Na! Na!)
After all that we’ve been through?
Cause we’re out here pretending
That we got no ending
(Oh! Na! Na!)
We sleep without mending
I’m dreaming, we’re ending
We’re ending ending

The years you count as many
May be a lot to you it’s true
But when compared to a lifetime
It’s only just a few
(Oh! Na! Na!)
So why make a mess of what we got now
When we live against the clock
I wish I could say to you this might work
I’m not in the mood to lie
(How I live)
Before I believed I could stand your bullshit
Back then all things could pass
Right now when I think of all I’ve been through
I think you could kiss my ahhh

What do we do
(Oh! Na! Na!)
After all that we’ve been through?
Cause we’re out here pretending
That we got no ending
(Oh! Na! Na!)
We sleep without mending
I’m dreaming, we’re ending
We’re ending, ending
What do we do
(Oh! Na! Na!)
After all that we’ve been through?
(Na! Na! Na! Na!)
Cause we’re out here pretending
That we got no ending
(Oh! Na! Na!)
We sleep without mending
I’m dreaming, we’re ending, ending
(Na! Na! Na! Na!)

What do we do
(Oh! Na! Na!)
After all that we’ve been through?
(Na! Na! Na! Na!)
Cause we’re out here pretending
That we got no ending
(Oh! Na! Na!)
We sleep without mending
I’m dreaming, we’re ending
We’re ending, ending
(What do we do)
(Oh! Na! Na!)
